Chapter 17: "EVERYBODY IS YOUR TOOL"

Malcolm is still annoyed, but he is still furious to find Mia. The boy knocks on the door a few times but no one opens, he impatiently calls her but still does not answer. He discovers that the door is unlocked, so he opens it to check and finds that the room is empty. Malcolm thinks she is out in the garden as usual so the man goes looking for her, but he can’t find Mia either. When he walks into the kitchen to get a drink, he suddenly sees that the light is still on, at first he assumes it is Olivia, but when he gets closer, he realizes it is Mia. The girl hears the sound and turns her head, seeing Malcolm, she jumps backward, carelessly bumping into the kitchen wall. The young man hurriedly asks:

"Are you alright?"

Mia nods her head, rubbing her hip with one hand, her face contorts in denial.

“It's okay… You still haven't slept?”

"No. What are you doing right now?”

Mia shyly replies:

"Baking..."

The young man is very surprised and asks:

"Baking? At this hour? Who asked you that
