CHAPTER TWENTY SEVEN - MY HEART IS IN THE RIGHT PLACE

I halted in the lot before i put down my windows-

"Hey" I called her attention before they opened the doors to come in.

Her clothes were different, she was out of those orange uniforms but her mood changed. Evidently stuck on her face was a frown, one i could was of disappointment.

"Jacq" I called, looking into the rear view mirror once she settled and she just looked away.

"Please, just move" She whispered, not even turning to look at me. "Just move?" I echoed as her elbows rested on the window frame before i sighed.

"I ran across miami to pick you up and i thought the least i could get was a greeting" I remarked before i ignited the engines. "She had a rough time. She'll get over it" Her uncle replied as i reversed to the roads.

I hope despite everything, this was the last time she ever stepped her foot in here.
