Chapter 4.

Ambulance bells rang inside Vex's head. Vex stood there stunned. Didn't know what to do. Brandon was Vex's best friend for all this time. Vex didn't know whether to cry or what. So Vex was scared to know what had happened to Brandon. That accident brought back memories of Vex's parent who died in a terrible accident. Now Vex feared the worst. "Did the same thing happened to Brandon?" Vex thought. The more the thought the worst the pain got. Vex however feared reality.

Brandon lay there in a huge pool of blood all from his shoulders and knuckles. His knee bones had cracked. Brandon lay there unconscious. Like he was dead. The nurses brought out stretcher beds so that they could run him to the hospital before his life is at stake. Vex was a very cold person and fear revealing the identity. So Vex drove the bike and disappeared into the thin air.

" Ohh no biker no. 20 seems to be connected to Vex. Vex is such a cold person." Elias said slightly. " Let's go and have a rest tomorrow you have a paper to do. Stop daydreaming about that stupid idol of yours. " Levi said with a serious look on his face. Literally, Elias has a paper to do. First thing in the morning at campus but here he was just having fan and even didn't read for the paper.

AT THE HOSPITAL.

" What happened to Brandon? Ohh dear God, why? why?. " Bella cried out her to her lungs.She had come all the way to the hospital running. She didn't get the time to thinks she had a car to drive. Her mind was so blank like a plain sheet of paper. Her fear was more clear than anything. "Will he be fine '' Bella asked some bikers who had come to the hospital with Brandon. Vex had not come. Did Vex fear to know what else happened to Brandon. Bella and the others waited by the operating room. The surgery took almost 12 hours.

In the morning, Bella did even sleep. She was worried to loss someone else . Her mother left her and Brandon had been with her since then. The doctor came back from the operating room." Brandon is out of danger. After he is taken to his room. Your free to come see him." A female doctor says. Bella let's out a sigh of relief. Brandon was now safe. The worst that Vex feared was now fine.

Bella had to take care of Brandon. His parents were very far in the countryside. So he had no one to care for him in a mean time. Bella was the only best friend Brandon had . So it was her responsibility. She stayed on watch and waited for him to wake up. Someone unlocked the door of Brandon's hospital room. Room 140 and entered. " Ohh, Look what we have here. A nanny. Miss Shone, come on." Zane said. He had followed up Bella to the hospital just to mock her. He was laughing wildly. She felt like grabbing his neck and kill him. She almost revealed her true nature, her identity. She wasn't a weak as she seemed to be, as she looked to be. Zane didn't know what he was joking with. Bella wasn't the same little girl he had known ten years ago. She was different. She was strong.

"Zane, get the hell out of here. " Bella screamed on to of her voice. Zane ignored her and moved closer reaching out to Brandon's injured leg. He moved his hand and slowly touched him. Bella's heart skipped. What was he gonna do to him. Twist his leg and break it harder. Bella's fears gets more further. She feared what Zane would do to Brandon's leg. Bella stood up and grabbed Zane's hand. " Get away from him." She screamed. Zane moved his hand away. Then he leans in and says softly." Your bodyguard is now useless. Just look at him. Now who is gonna watch over you, my little bitch sister? Do you want me to look after you little bitch? Watch your moves dear." Zane says. Paused abit and made his way to the door. When he reached the door he paused and turned " Quick recovery so that you don't miss the movie." He say looking at Brandon. Bella didn't fear Zane, She actually feared what he could do to her beloved ones. He is her living night mare.

SHONE'S VILLA.

" Hurry up dear, we are getting late." Mr. Shone said downstairs. He adjusted his tie as he waited. Victoria moved down stairs. A very stunning lady but very viscous. She moved like a royal consort. From a royal family. Besides her she had Bella. She seemed to struggle in a dress. She is very stunning but then she felt too uncomfortable. She loves putting on trousers. Dressed more like a gent but she was now going to an important ceremony of foreign investors. she had to wear a dress. " My stepmother picked this thick ugly red dress. It makes me uncomfortable. " Bella sighed out.

AT THE CEREMONY.

" May l present to you my daughter and the future heir of Shone Beverage company. Ms. Shone Bella. " Mr. Shone said on the stage. Bella walked graceful towards the stage. The same way Vex walks towards the biker when going for a race. She had never dreamed of inheriting her father's company not even a single minute. It was those riches her father owned that killed her mother. That's what Bella believed. She reached for the microphone. She gave a simple brief speech.

" That's our lovely daughter, Bella. She deserves all the praises in the world. She is the Shone's family pride. Bella of course will inherit her father's company and make it more successful. " Victoria said with a smile on her face. But inside she is rotting. Her sons were nowhere to be seen. She is taking up her son's honor and pride. That's not her's. She grinded her teeth slowly and said with her hand on the glass of wine. " Enjoy you last days you bitch."

She got her hand bag and moved to the restroom. She made a simple call and came back. A few moments later someone's phone buzzes and another. It was a video of Mr.Shone saying Bella was his illegitimate child. The room grows tense. Murmurs come from the crowd. "How could Mr Shone be such a monster. Mrs. Shone Victoria is such an understanding lady letting her husband make the illegitimate daughter the heir to the company she worked hard to build. Such a vicious man. " Some ladies said.

Bella moved closer to her father and whispered. " Dear father, aren't you gonna disown me. And abandon me like before. Come on Father, am a shame to you, like you once said. " Mr. Shone's face grew tenser. He was wondering who had released that video. Bella was now more relieved her dark side was now public. Her father's secret. Her stepmother's happiness.

WESTFIELD UNIVERSITY.

" Hey bro, are you hungry? let's go grab a bite at that cafeteria. " Levi says running towards Elias. Elias was deeply buried in thoughts. He was wondering if biker no. 22 was Vex's friend. Elias knew Brandon very well. So his chance had come. To get close to Vex. His idol of three years. Elias had dozed off during the morning paper. His mind was blank but not too blank. He was a top student. So he was going to score something.

Alex approaches from behind and grabs Elias' shoulder. " Hey buddy. Wanna go for lunch." Alex asked Elias. " Hey, am not your buddy and am going to lunch with Levi. Thanks for the invite but am not interested." Elias moved towards Levi and pulled him. He didn't want anything to do with Alex. Alex however was more interested in Elias and he had promised himself to wait for him. Alex gave a simple smile. He found Elias more cute.

AT THE HOSPITAL.

A window was slammed open. A guy in black garments. Dressed like a ninja. With his face covers full stepped in one of the hospital rooms. It was Brandon's room. The guy pulled out a knife and moved closer. Brandon lay there sleeping. He didn't know what had come for him.
