Chapter Fifty-Eight

Valerie couldn’t believe she was leading Scott back to her office for a quickie. God, how far could she keep falling. This was wrong on so many levels, and not just because he was married. She knew if her door was locked that no one would bother them. Hell, most would see the closed door and just keep walking by. But still, to be doing what she hoped they would be doing on campus was just… She felt a tremor of excitement ripple throughout her body. It was hot as hell. That’s what it was.

She slowed her steps as they neared the outer office, making sure no one was paying them any attention. Luckily, the hall was deserted, so no one even saw them enter the office. As soon as they were inside, she closed and locked the door. Even if Nick arrived to see her, he would see the door shut and assume she wasn’t inside. No one had a key to her office except her. They were safe.

For now.

She walked over to the desk, setting her purse on the corner as she turned and face
