~Third Person's POV~Damien’s silence was shaking everyone. They wanted him to take his rage out, express how he felt but all he did was wait. Wait for Louis to show up with his mate. Considering his past, everyone feared that Louis might switch sides, but Damien thought otherwise. He believed his bond with Aliyah wouldn't let him betray them and if by any chance his family's fears came true, he knew he was doomed. Not Damein, but Louis. The whole vampire world would find itself disappearing in no time. While everyone just watched Damien sitting quietly with a blank face in the corner of their big brown couch, Aliyah restlessly paced in the garden. She didn't want to believe disturbing thoughts that kept coming to her head but she couldn't push them away. It was Louis who suggested taking away Damein's mate in the first place. If anything happened to her, then no matter how many times Louis tries to make amends with her, there would be no hope left for their relationship. "H
~Louis's POV~ "Adrian..." The disappointment in Michelle's whispering voice, with pain reflecting in her green eyes, brought so much joy to my heart that I started chuckling. Adrian freaking punched her over confidence. She kept gazing at Adrian while whispering his name but Adrian chose to ignore her voice which made me fucking proud of him. That was definitely my blood! I don't doubt Dorian but Adrian has won over Dorian's way too good heart today. "What the heck have you done with our men! None of them can make their way here!" Declan, my third half-brother growled. "This might be your father's home, but every single thing in the place listens to my words. You really thought I just came here without thinking through all the possibilities? Moron." How more stupid can they be while making their way to the castle? Haven't they learned anything from their past foolishness? Jerks. "This throne and place are still mine, Louis..." My father hissed at me but I just rolled
~Louis's POV~ I knew if anyone would be disappointed by my actions then it would be my mother. Everyone else just hated me more than they already did but her... She didn't expect me to cross my boundaries. Our kids were our boundaries. This boundary was a pact that Samuel, Abel, and I made with each other. No matter how ugly things get between us, we decided not to turn to each other's kids for revenge. Though Abel didn't have any kids, Samuel had three. Two were in my clutches and one was living his life freely out in the world, away from the wickedness of our world. I was gloomy for a good two days when Abel's unborn child died along with his vampire mother who couldn't make it through the delicate period of pregnancy and died in the third week of her pregnancy. I was never dejected for anyone like that before, like I was for Abel's child, but today I feel like whatever happened was good. You know, the saying, everything happens for a reason... I have had one more e
~Third Person's POV "Can't you see what you have become? That bitch has turned you against us!" Michelle yelled. Louis tried his best not to react impulsively when Lucien insulted Aliyah but another insult made him lose his cool. His eyes turned red while his sharp fangs appeared. Everyone feared that he might feed on them but Louis smashed Lucien's head on the wall beside him, making blood race down from head to neck. Numerous gasps reached Louis's ears while his father yelled at him. "If anyone dared to insult my mate again I would freaking not think twice before playing with a dozen of dead hearts!" He growled making his father shut his mouth. His aura was powerful than before. It wasn't only dark but it also held an undeniable strength that screamed of terror. King Tallon knew it better than all of them... Louis was his youngest son but still deadly and most capable out of all. And after being mated to a hybrid, his strength has gone to another level. Now, not even
~Louis's POV~ "Where's Samuel?" I asked Samuel's best man while digging my nails deep into his flesh. He'd better spill it all before I rip his chest apart. "Don't you dare deny. I'm in no mood to play around," I hissed. Though I know how to make Samuel go down on his knees, I need to make sure that I don't hurt anyone else but him. But that doesn't count his best man because I know he freaking has all information about his all moves! "I... I..." I loosened my grip on his neck and he caught up his breath, "I don't know. He... He just told me that he would be going somewhere far away because you will come after him for Damein Knight's mate. He didn't tell me where he was going he just said..." "What did he say?" I noticed how hard he swallowed the lump in his throat. The sound of the feared gulp was too loud and I instantly knew Samuel was about to do something nasty and unforgivable. I made my way straight to the second floor and reached the third room to my
~Third Person's POV~ Roars of the shattered, aching heart of the alpha echoed in the forest, shaking all the trees and scaring away all the wild animals residing in the forest's depths. Damien Knight lost it all when his mate was taken away in front of his eyes. He didn't get time to know her, to praise her for how beautiful she looked even if she hated her appearance, and how much he already loved her despite her being a rogue. She was taken away way before that. Samuel only waited to confirm if she was his mate or not, and once he was sure, he snatched Damein's happiness from in front of his eyes. Even if Samuel stood far while holding Damien’s mate by her neck, the vengeful smirk on his face said it all... He was going to make her walk on burning coal while biting into her soft flesh over and over again. And this time, there was no hope for her survival. Damein might have saved her from the darkness of being a rogue but he won't be able to save her from the vam
