Chapter 17 | Catastrophe

Ember slowly walked upstairs, the keys hanging around her fingertip kept jingling while her other hand is holding a folder. The folder was given by Raverine before she left his restaurant. The folder has the picture of his mother named Jelita Agustine attached to a paper with Jelita’s personal information. Ember also saw a lot of personal information about Calil Heresy including Calil’s involvement in an undercover organization or similar to an underground economy.

“When I tried to dig deeper about Calil and how he rose to his current status, I found a name that has been connected with his life. Die Dark which I believe is a gang or an organization of powerful people living around or outside the city of Pinephil.” Ember flashbacked to what Raverine said to her earlier.

Ember even asked if Raverine found more about the Die Dark, but Raverine answered that he had tried to look more about it but doesn’t have enough tools or connections to access more information about it.
