"Before you touch that one, Hades, let me give him a good show," Jayden said looking around.

Everyone was busy fighting and didn't lose focus even when Jayden arrived carrying Claire. Jacob felt that Hades let go of him but his attention was not there. Everyone was focused on Jayden's female captive. If earlier there was no fear and his chest would not tighten even though he knew he had nothing to lose from what Hades would do, now that he has released him, he feels even more nervous and afraid. His chest felt like he was going to collapse from the tension. He didn't even know Jayden's plan. It intended to suck Claire's soul right in front of him.
