"Is your mom okay?" Judiel asked me when I got next to her. I looked again at Ales and Mom, who were still looking at me, and turned to Judiel.

"They're fine, don't worry. Let's go? You still have a meeting," I said to him. He nodded, so we got in the car together.

While on the ride, I just silently stared ahead. I think of the people left behind in my life. What if they get hurt and disappear from me because of what I'm doing? I can't afford for that to happen again. I don't want to lose a loved one similarly.

"Hey." I immediately looked at his hand when he held one of my hands. I looked at him with a smile. "Are you okay?" I nodded with a smile still on my lips at his question.

"I'm sorry if Mom didn't seem to get along well earlier. Maybe she just remembered something."

"Remember me? What is that?" I was stunned by his question. I have to think of an answer.
