Ezra stood beside her, his face still cocked in a half smile that sent butterflies soaring through her stomach, hitting her like a punch to the gut.  Her smile met his stepping away from Brandon who was way too close to begin with, and moving closer to the stranger.  Brandon merely stared at the guy who suddenly pulled his conquest, literally from his grasp, without saying a word.

"Can I help you?"  Brandon made his presence known stepping between the two who seemed to have fallen into a trance with one another.  They're glances stuck on each other, unwavering.

"Want to step outside for some fresh air?"  The stranger spoke to her and her heart leapt at his voice.

"Yea, sure."  She moved to stand beside him, Brandon being a thing of the past until he spoke again, reminding her of his forgotten existence.

"But, Violet, I thought you were going to hang out eith me tonight?"  He reached out and grabbed her arm, as if he was ready to physically stop her from leaving.  Ezra went rigid beside her.

"There you are Brandon, you promised me next game Bran Bear."  Macy seemed to have the perfect timing, she threw her arms around his neck, being very obvious in her intentions to completely occupy his attentions.  His hand dropped from Violet.  It seemed he would settle for the night, or perhaps it was the look of the new stranger coming into play that had made up his mind for him.  Why fight when you could sort of have what you wanted in a much easier form.

Violet was somewhat dazed, the night and drinks had crept up on her all at once.  It felt as though she was floating on air as she grasped at the stranger's arm as he led her outside.  His skin was warm to the touch, she could feel the very hardness of his toned muscle beneath her fingertips.  She couldn't help herself she was staring at him, she saw no need to look anywhere other than him at the moment.  It was the alcohol, she told herself, that had her acting like a complete fool.  There was no other explanaion for why she felt completely at ease with this person who's existence she'd only been made aware of in the past few hours.

Ezra realized the human was drunk, it did nothing to ward him off though, he was compelled to be near her and this fascinated him to no end because such a complusion as this had never before existed for him.

They made their way in silence past the heaps of people clustered in different areas here and there taking part in different activities.  Card games in the living room, the DJ in the dining room with people scattered around in there dancing, having moved the dining room furniture along the walls to make space for a small piece of floor designated for dancing.  Suzie was no where to be seen.

The night air had turned cool and filled her nostrils so that she had to take a breath.  She released his arm, and went to lean against the railing, nothing  would have pleased her more in this very moment than to stare at him fully, take in his gorgeous figure, she didn't know when and if she would have another chance to do so so shamelessly.  He seemed to take on an almost ethereal form in the moonlight, he was heavenly.  She waited for him to speak for what seemed like an eternity, but he too seemed intent on sizing her up, as if he had't done enough of that most of the night.

"So, why were stalking me most of the night?"  The drink left inhibitions in the dust, as she spoke the first thing that popped in her head.

He chuckled, pleasantly surprised at her frankness.  "Stalking, is that what you call it?  I was merely intrigued at the girl who so blatantly chose to flirt without actually saying a word to me."  He shot her a playful glance.

Her face crinkled for a moment as she tried to recall if she had done that, it was possible, but honestly she'd had too many drinks to recall that kind of detail to a T of who began it first.

        "I'm Violet..."

"Ahh, changing the subject are you, well then in that case I'm Ezra."

          "Ezra, hmmm, I like it!"

"Well glad to have your seal of approval,  "He joked as he shot her a thumbs up.  "So I take it you didn't come here with Bran Bear was it?"

Violet couldn't contain the laughter at that, it seemed to have skipped her notice at the time but Macy had definitely called Brandon that and he seemed none to indifferent to it, it was obviously what she called him when they were together and apparantly still referred to him in the silly pet name.

"No, Brandon's just a classmate that up until just recently I may or may not have had my eye on."

"Ah so that would explain why his hands seemed to be glued to you the entire time."  She blushed as he spoke, and then his look changed.

He had moved so quickly it took a moment for her to realize that he was only inches from her face.  He had moved faster than her eyes had been able to process, to stand right in front of her.  His hands stretched out grabbing for her, one had slipped behing her back pulling her towards him, the other moved to her face, tilting her chin up, running his thumb along her taunt jaw.

Ezra had moved before he knew what had taken over him, the color that heated her cheeks to a degree that was visible even in the pale moonlight had lit a fire in him.  She was so vibrant and radiating with life, oddly enough though he didn't want to feed off of her like he did all other humans, right now he wanted nothing more than to touch.  To feel the heat behind her blush.  His groin tightened, soomething that rarely happened, as he realized he was the reason for her blush.

She felt no compulsion to stop him, she welcomed his touch in fact.  His hands seemed to sear her skin with heat wherever he touched.  His thumb began tracing the outline of her mouth.  Her eyes focused on his lips, which were surprisingly supple for a guy.  She began to wonder how his facial hair would feel against her face.  The small, black soul patch beneath his full bottom lip, the garden of black hair just under his chin, how it would tickle her.  Suddenly she wanted nothing more than to feel those things.  Her lips parted beneath his thumb, silently willing him to plant his lips on hers.

Ezra willingly obliged, he sensed the wanton in her, and felt the need coursing through him as well.  Nothing else mattered in the brief moment other than his lips on hers.

His mouth found her before either of them had time to think of it.  He moved, and his mouth consumed hers, the heat and force of him hitting her all at once.  He pulled her forcefully against him as his mouth took over hers.  His tongue prodded at the corner of her mouth until she parted her lips just enough for him to slip his tongue in.  The warm, wetness of her mouth nearly buckled his knees, never had he expected this kind of pleasure from kissing a human.

Violet melted into his arms as they tightened around her, bringing her as close as possible as his tongue slipped in her mouth.  Her arms wrapped around his waist as they became one for a moment, completely oblivious to the world around them that seemed to have gone silent and dark around them.  She became aware very quickly that she never wanted this feeling to end.
