Evander POV. We took over earth, we could just kill them all, but we didn't do that, we aren't such barbarians like they are, we are smart creatures, we take things from every planet, we take what we need to evolve. On earth, we found love, something we never had before, but when we took the chosen humans to space they died, instead we had to get their bodies ready from childhood, but they are just stupid creatures when at such young age, too fragile to be left alone in our care. But having them as a child, that had it's own magic, we never had children before we are created adults, but to have a child was something we now craved. We didn't give the humans enough credit first, they have their ways, it's a coping mechanism for them, something they do for fun and to feel secure, but it's in their genetics, age regression, having a caregiver little relation, the human in adult body which is strong enough to live in space, but with the headspace of a little, a baby that'll never grow up

Evander POV."Sir" Luca my right hand and my best friend calls, but I ignore him, I couldn't pay work any attention, I knew I have to squeeze as much as possible into my short schedule. "Evander" my friend calls out again, this time I do answer him, I look at him. "Yes?" I say. "There's some news from my spy in earth," he says, that was enough to get all of my attention, I looked at him with wide eyes, a spy on earth? "And why don't I know about that spy?" I ask him, I believed in the humans, in them to keep what ours safe until we come and get them. Evander POV. We made it back to our home, our planet is similar to earth, but the colours are more prominent, we have two moons instead of one, but our homes are similar. I live in the highest tower on the planet, it's a sign of me being the strongest person around here. The tower hosts my doctors and researchers, all of my military commanders and my personal security and family, that being Luca and now Violet. The whole tower is managed by the AI, an artificial named Hayden, I named him, he's smart, got some of my DNA in it, connected straight to me, and helps keep everyone in line. I kind of missed Hayden, it's been so long since I came back home, I don't spend long around here, but I'll have to stay here until Violet is old enough to be going on road trips with me. We made it before she did, my flying is much faster than the team I've sent to retrieve her, they won't dare to speed with a sick little on the fly. Evander POV. I got in the room and saw her small body attached to too many machines, they need those to keep an eye on her, I checked her vitals, checked her numbers, making sure that the treatment they pumped into her body is working, everything seemed to be good, but my heart still skipped beats. Good thing, we won't die from heart failure, our body is too strong for that, we can survive without it beating for hours, and days even sometimes, I sat on the bed with her, pulling her in my arms. "Violet" I whisper her name but she doesn't respond, she just keeps on sleeping in my arms, I took a deep breath, taking her smell in, she smells like the best baby ever, like my baby. I held her closer, closing my eyes and enjoying the closeness of us right now, she's gonna take some time to wake up, I could just rest for a little while until she's ready to get up. Evander POV. The doctors had to check on her again, I warned them to be careful and not wake her up, Violet was too tired to wake up, the whole treatment had drained her. By the time they finished their check-up, I was busy holding her, bouncing her around, taking in her scent, landing a few kisses on her chubby cheeks. "Sir, the treatment has fully worked, she's not in any danger, she just needs you now," one of the doctors say, making me take a breath in relief. "I'll be taking her to my room, thank you" I answer, getting ready to take her up to my private room, I got in the elevator hiding her away in my arms while everyone else was trying to take a peek of my little girl. "Hayden, take us to my room," I say, the elevator here have no buttons, you just ask Hayden to take you up and down. Violet POV. I wanted to be alone for a bit, I wanted to get away from Evander, or daddy, or whatever his name is, I just wanted to be left alone. I was hurt, I felt betrayed, I felt like I was dealt a bad deal, why didn't he tell me who he is? I always thought I'd be alone, I was sure no one wants me, I was sure not on earth and not in space, but he was there. But what did I really want or need, I think I want him to have talked to me, to call me, to check on me, to send me messages like everyone else. I always thought it was stupid to need or want someone, I was fed since I was a baby that someone is waiting for me up in the space, but that someone never came until now, and right now might be the wrong timing. Violet POV. "He doesn't love me, he doesn't know me," I inform the voice, but we seem to not agree on that point.
