Evander POV.

We took over earth, we could just kill them all, but we didn't do that, we aren't such barbarians like they are, we are smart creatures, we take things from every planet, we take what we need to evolve. On earth, we found love, something we never had before, but when we took the chosen humans to space they died, instead we had to get their bodies ready from childhood, but they are just stupid creatures when at such young age, too fragile to be left alone in our care. But having them as a child, that had it's own magic, we never had children before we are created adults, but to have a child was something we now craved.

We didn't give the humans enough credit first, they have their ways, it's a coping mechanism for them, something they do for fun and to feel secure, but it's in their genetics, age regression, having a caregiver little relation, the human in adult body which is strong enough to live in space, but with the headspace of a little, a baby that'll never grow up
