Hael’s P.O.V.

I slipped out of the house before Olive arrived, dead set on breaking into my father’s private office. With him out of town for a few days, I wouldn’t get a better opportunity than this.

As I headed to my car, I could feel a set of curious eyes on my back. Awareness prickled over my skin along with the ghost of sparks, and I knew if I were to turn around I’d see a certain doe-eyed blonde watching me from the window.

Before the emotional and physical maelstrom that was Violet could form in my head, I pushed those thoughts aside and buried them deep down.

Now was not the time for this.

The drive to Cole’s place was spent clearing my head. I went inside for just a few minutes, long enough for him to hand me a flash drive and explain the process of copying and transferring all of my father’s files onto it.

Easy enough.

I'm starting to wonder about Macon. I also think Xavier has Violets mom and siblings at the facility and wants to kill Violet to either control or brake them.

Ok why do I now think hael father is the bad mad. That’s why he’s so obsessed with killing violet he hates her because she was born from her mom from another man and not him.
