Soraya kept her senses sharp. Looking around, all the while keeping her gaze on the knights who stood guarding them. She could not understand why they were suddenly being taken care of like that.
They healed their wounds, gave back their weapons and armor. They even fed them to where they were all satisfied.
They also mixed the captive villagers with their soldiers, making them look like a bunch of cattle being herded inside the outer castle.
She knew that all of it had to have a reason and it was not just for show nor for their so-called friendly gesture. She’d hardly consider them having any, experiencing how cruel and barbaric they were.
There was something behind of it all which she could not put her foot on it.
It alerted Soraya seeing the soldiers move in a straight line, posing at the ready when they saw a line of well-dressed people coming their way.
