Chapter XVII

“It seems you are not what you say you are. So tell me, who are you exactly,” the captain asks, as they were now threading the castle halls.

It was already late afternoon and the sun was high up in the sky, besides that there were a ton of soldiers that were either patrolling around or standing guard on every corner of the place, so it wasn’t much of a problem for her walking along with the captain without a chaperon, besides the fact that she was still hiding her identity not to mention that even though she knows that the man was an enemy soldier she could not remove the reality that he has saved her before gaining her trust.

“I am but a servant sire,” she answers making sure not to make eye contact with the man, remembering her nana’s advice a while ago.
