“Where are you going, Dad?” Valentina asked her father when she found her father dressed up to go somewhere.

Her mother had stopped talking to her ever since she expressed her interest in Vladimir.

“To Vladimir’s house for a business dinner. The Mexicans are giving us too much trouble,” Frencesco answered with a deep sigh. He was tired now with the continuous ongoing war.

Valentina’s eyes glinted hearing that. To Vladimir’s house! Oh she was finding ways to meet the man of her dreams somehow. And the opportunity landed in her lap just like that.

“Dad, may I come with you for this dinner,” she asked in her sweet goodgirl voice.
