Isaiah's words were like a bucket of cold water dumped straight over Ford's burning rage.

Ford's fist froze midair. The vicious look on his face instantly gave way to shock and confusion. He stared at Isaiah, then at me. "Not her? Then… Then who was it?"

Justine stepped forward. "Mr. Stokes, I was the lead surgeon. Dr. Clem was present the entire time, overseeing the procedure. The surveillance footage and time records can all prove that Dr. Strickland has never entered the operating room. She was only responsible for informing you about the operation."

Ford's momentum collapsed at once. His arm dropped, and doubt crept onto his face as he muttered, "B-But…"
