DID I MARRY A BABY?

Throughout our journey to the airport, Daniel and I sat side by side in silence. The man looked like he didn’t mind the silence which really annoyed me.

It wasn't like I cared either. In fact, I was enjoying every bit of the silence also but what was aggravating me more was the man beside me and everything he had said to me.

Looking back at it again, it began to dawn on me that my family had other choices indeed. But then again, Emerald looked like she knew and she didn't mind being sold off to the family as long as she could be with that man.

If that was the case, then my family could have postponed the wedding till whenever she woke up. They made it seem like they had no other choice. They acted as if the family and company would fall apart if I didn’t marry that man.

I was a fool. I believed them. No, I made them succeed in using me.

As if that was not enough, this woman would not stop taunting me.
