Chapter 12: Sleepy

“Aria dear, your phone…”

Conni called while she was taking new stock of flowers in the back room.

“Coming…”

She walked quickly while hugging a bunch of roses that were still new and fresh. They had been very busy lately, some orders were coming randomly, but there were also bouquets and flower displays for certain celebrations.

Aria slowly placed the flower in the place she had prepared beforehand. She will arrange these flowers with others according to the client's order.

After making sure the flowers were standing up straight and not being crushed to another, Aria ran to get her phone.

At the last second, she picked up the phone.

“Hi, What's up?”

Silence, no sound heard from the other side.

“Alex?” Aria called him and looked at her phone screen to make sure he was still on line.

Conni, who was arranging several bouquets, not far from Aria, suddenly stiffened when she heard who had called her.

Aria put the phone on her ear again.
