CHAPTER EIGHT

ELENA'S POV

“No,” Vivian whispered again, shaking her head as though refusing to accept the truth could somehow change it.

Justice didn't blink.

“Yes.”

“That's impossible. You can't be serious.”

“My wolf has never been mistaken about its mate.”

Vivian stared at him, searching his face for some sign that he was joking or attempting to humiliate her. When she found neither, disbelief gave way to fury.

“But you were supposed to marry me! Our families agreed to this alliance. Everyone

WRONG LUNA, RIGHT ALPHACHAPTER EIGHTELENA’S POVThe healer arrived within minutes, carrying a leather bag filled with herbs and small glass bottles. She was an older woman with silver hair braided down her back, and her sharp eyes moved from Justice to me before settling on my trembling hands.“Tell me exactly what happened,” she instructed.I sat on the edge of the bed in the guest room, struggling to steady my breathing. The strange pain in my chest had eased, but the voice remained somewhere in the back of my mind, as clear as if someone had whispered directly into my ear.Find me.I had never heard anything like it before.“One moment I was speaking to Justice, and the next, it felt as though something was pressing against my chest,” I explained. “Then I heard a voice calling my name.”The healer’s expression changed.“What did the voice say?”I hesitated, suddenly afraid that saying the words aloud would make whatever was happening to me real.“It said my name. Then it told me

When she found neither, disbelief gave way to fury.“But you were supposed to marry me! Our families agreed to this alliance. Everyone knows I was chosen to become your Luna.”“You were chosen for a political arrangement,” Justice corrected. “That is not the same thing as being chosen by my wolf.”Her face crumpled for an instant before anger took over.“She isn't even a proper wolf!” Vivian exclaimed. “She's weak. She doesn't have the strength or breeding to stand beside you. She's nothing but a servant!”The insult struck deeper than I wanted to admit. Not because I believed it, but because I had heard those words so many ti

WRONG LUNA, RIGHT ALPHACHAPTER SEVENTHE WOMAN HE CHOSEELENA'S POVI had barely finished breakfast when Justice received another call.He listened for a few seconds, his expression growing colder with every word. His fingers tightened around his phone, and a faint golden flicker passed through his eyes before disappearing. Whatever the person on the other end was telling him, it wasn't good news.“Bring her here,” he ordered. “If she wants to make accusations, she can make them to my face.”He ended the call and slipped the phone into his pocket.“Who was that?” I asked, although I already had a suspicion.“My bride's family,” he replied dryly. “Apparently, your stepmother has decided that my estate is an appropriate place to stage a family reunion.”I almost laughed, but the sound died in my throat.“She's coming here?”“She and Vivian.”My appetite vanished completely.I had spent the morning convincing myself that I could face Vivian without showing fear. I had imagined standing

CHAPTER SIXELENA'S POVI woke to the sound of rain striking the bedroom windows. For a few seconds, I lay still beneath the unfamiliar sheets, staring at the high ceiling while I tried to remember where I was. Then the events of the previous day came rushing back, and my stomach tightened. The wedding. Justice's golden eyes. The way he had looked at me after lifting my veil. You aren't Vivian.I closed my eyes.He knew.I had spent years imagining the day I would finally take something from Vivian, something she couldn't simply snatch back with a cruel smile. I had pictured her humiliation, her tears, the moment she realized she wasn't untouchable. But I hadn't imagined waking up in Justice Kane's bed, wearing a stranger's wedding ring, with the most powerful Alpha in the region knowing perfectly well that I had deceived him.I shifted beneath the sheets and immediately regretted it. My entire body felt exhausted, and the memories of the night before made my cheeks burn. Whatever had

CHAPTER FIVE The word didn't come from his voice, but from the primal depths of his consciousness, echoing in Elena’s own mind. Justice’s expression shifted from cold indifference to raw, bewildered hunger. He didn't know who she was. He thought she was Vivian. But his wolf—the most powerful predator in the kingdom—had just recognized its other half. The ceremony was a blur. Elena could barely hear the priest’s voice over the roar of blood in her ears. Every time Justice touched her—guiding her to the altar, sliding the ring onto her finger—another wave of heat crashed over her. It was an agonizing, beautiful tension, a magnetic pull that made her want to throw herself against him and never let go. When the priest declared them husband and wife, Justice didn't give her a polite, social kiss. He reached out, gripped the back of her head, and yanked the veil back. He stared at her. The confusion was evident. This wasn't the woman he had seen in the photos. This woman had a softnes

CHAPTER FOUR The morning of the wedding arrived in a blur of white silk and frantic shouting. The Rose estate was transformed into a cathedral of luxury. The air was thick with the scent of a thousand white roses, a smell that now made Elena feel nauseous. Elena was in the bridal suite, tasked with helping Vivian into her gown. The dress was a masterpiece of lace and pearls, fitting Vivian like a second skin. "Tighter," Vivian snapped, glancing at herself in the mirror. "I want my waist to look nonexistent." Elena pulled the laces of the corset, her movements mechanical. She looked at Vivian’s reflection—the smugness, the arrogance, the absolute certainty that she was untouchable. "You look beautiful, Vivian," Elena said, her voice devoid of emotion. "Of course I do. Now, get out. I need a moment of peace before I have to pretend to like that brute." As soon as the door closed, Elena stepped back into the hallway. She waited. She knew Marcus was waiting in the gardens, and she
