In the rain

Alpha Ethan's POV

I walked back into the hall and saw couples dancing on the stage, but the one who caught my attention was Zoey dancing with a man. His hands were wrapped around her waist while her hands were placed on his shoulders as they danced to the soft melodious song. Watching her dance with this man brought back a pleasant memory.

"Where is Zoey? I can't find her in her room," I asked Charity, who gulped before responding. "She is outside in the garden," she replied, and I furrowed my brow. "Outside in the garden under this heavy rain pour?" I asked, and Charity nodded. "This woman," I groaned and stepped outside the mansion.

The rain was pouring heavily, which made me wonder what she would be doing in the rain. As I made my way through the pouring rain towards the garden, my mind raced with concern for Zoey. Why would she be outside in this weather? I couldn't understand her actions, but I knew I had to find her and bring her back inside.
