Zoey's POV

I looked around the bed as I gathered my thoughts, and then I left the bed. I walked over to the mirror and stood before it while I stared at my reflection through the mirror. My eyes looked dull and puffy due to the cry I had last night. It also seems that I have lost a little weight, which I knew was due to Alpha Ethan's critical condition during those few days.

A sigh left my lips as I ran my fingers through my hair while the words of Alpha Ethan replayed in my head. I recalled those hurtful words he said, and that brought a different type of anger in me. I sighed and then left the mirror. I went back to the bed and then sat on it. My gaze moved around my old room as I realized that nothing has changed in the room. My old pictures and things were still in the room; Mother never took them off.
