PATRICIA

“Patricia.”

Patricia looked at her brother. "Hmmm?"

"I’ve been calling you to come downstairs. You have a visitor."

She stood up and released the book she was holding. "Who is it?"

"Just come down and look. Stop asking."

Kit rolled his eyes and left his younger sister. Patricia, on the other hand, was still smiling until she came downstairs to see who her visitor was. She opened the gate and smilingly looked at her alleged visitor. But that smile of hers suddenly disappeared when she saw that visitor.

"It's been a while."

Patricia was about to close the gate again when the man in front of her blocked his body to stop her.

"I want my fiancé back. Please come back to me."

Patricia's face immediately shifted when he said that and faked a smile. "You missed your chance, so now I want you to stay out of my life."
