chapter sixteen

I stood there for a while as I watched Levi walk away. I didn't really understand what he meant by his last words but for some reason, the fact that he ached for me as much as I did for me brought a smile to my face.

“I thought he said I wasn't his type" I murmured as I walked towards the door but before I could step a foot out of the house, some men appeared in front of me.

“Boss said you are to wait for him inside the house. He'll be back soon" I frowned then looked past them and saw Levi walking away with his brothers. Where was he going?

“Did he perhaps tell you where he was going?" I questioned as I turned back to them.

“The whereabouts of the boss is none of our concern, Miss Smith" I bit my lower lip then nodded.

“Of course. I'll wait inside then" I murmured. They nodded and I closed the door behind me before letting out a sigh as I glanced around the big mansion.

I was all alone here again. I really hoped Levi would be back q
