Damon’s POV

I was already outside the boutique with Cora, whom I slightly forced to leave to get away from Addison. I couldn't accept what Addison had done to me. I was fed up with that woman and how she ignored her husband.

It's only natural for her to ask for a divorce because she's got a man who can afford her entire life. That's the attitude of a bitch. She's so clueless and shameless that she wants a divorce just because she's found a man who will support her. I didn't expect Addison to have that kind of attitude at all.

I remember once when Addison and I were still unmarried. We walked together on the sidewalk and went to a city park. We walked hand in hand on a warm afternoon, where Addison always smiled and told me she loved me. I will never forget the words of love she always told me.

"Oh, Damon... you know how much I love you with all my soul. If you're not by my side, I don't know what I'll become."

Damn it! The words that she used to say now sounded like nonsense. The
