My wish came to pass. Morning came in no time and we were up, ready to begin our long journey back to the fallen moon pack, my abandoned pack. Thankfully, the night was peaceful although we both slept with one eye open. We finished eating and began our long journey back to the pack. It was going to take at least an extra day or two to get back to the pack.

So she's still alive. Her pack didn't burn her for killing her parents? That's ridiculous. I thought I paid that coward handsomely to do a clean job. Did he inject her wrongly or with the wrong mixture? Now, the threat remains. The threat to my rulership remains.

That little girl must have grown by now. She must not find out the truth about who she is. Now, with every passing minute, I feel threatened, knowing that she's still alive.
