I had no choice but to carry Devon to the tiled floor.

He was still trembling in so much pain. I abruptly wiped his whole body. As the drips of water from his body disappeared, so as the flames that surrounded him. But that didn't even mend his suffering. He was still gnashing his teeth in terror.

I sobbed while drying him up. "This is all my fault! Devon... I'm so sorry!"
