Chapter 17: Scared

Gwy's POV

I gasped for air as I woke up from that dreadful slumber. It took me a while before I could breathe properly. Beads of sweat were all over my temples. When I realized that no one is around, I sighed in relief.

At least it's just a dream. It was my first time to be feeling like that in a dream.

Scared. Frantically scared to death.

I've never dreamt of someone violating me before. I'm a lucid dreamer so I know how dreams work. But this one was different of all the dreams I encountered. It was something ominous and dark. It feels like it has been with me since then that it was awaken from a deep slumber. It was a weird feeling. I still feel the goosebumps coming up behind me.

I looked around and noticed that Devon was not around. He must've gone out since I passed out.

It was 2 in the morning but I can't go to sleep anymore. I'm afraid that the dream would come again when I close my eyes. I feel so alone.
