I sat still and tried to act like I wasn’t pregnant, I couldn’t believe I would be pregnant.
“Amelia, what’s wrong?” Alpha Damien asked again but I still kept quiet as I held myself in, I would bet show it that I was feeling like I would puke anything.
I continued to play around with my food and Kade noticed…he looked at me with a smile but when I looked back at Isabelle she had a frown on her face which meant she wasn’t happy that all the attention was on me.
“Are you pregnant?” Lucy said and that made me smile awkwardly.
“Why would you say that!? Why would I be the first person to get pregnant among all the wives and brides in this house.” I said to her but was more like a question to myself…
I looked at Lady Rosa who was standing beside Alpha Damein and she smiled, why are they all smiling like I am pregnant?
I looked at Luther and he immediately looked away, he seemed angry and I guess it was because of what everyone was saying.
“I would be leaving now, I lost appetite,” Luther said and stood up but I knew alpha Damien wouldn’t just let him leave that way and mostly so easily.
“Sit back down!!!” Alpha Damien yelled but Luther still stood there no when he attempted to leave alpha Damien stood up and slammed his spoon on the table making everyone a bit frightened and that made me so scared in particular.
“I said you should sit!!” He yelled again as I hoped Luther would sit and not try to prove to be too stubborn to his father….but Luther didn’t look like someone who even watched his father just display his anger.
“Why can’t I just leave? Why do you just lie to watch me get more and more miserable!!!! I don’t want to sit here anymore, can’t I leave and at least go to my room!!! am I not allowed to do that!!!” Luther yelled looking so much in rage and I could see that he was in a really bad mood, which meant something just have happened that I knew about.
“How dare you, Luther!!” Alpha Damien yelled and from the way he moved I knew he was about to do something to Luther as he walked towards him but I stood up and ran quickly to stand in the way just when Alpha Damien lifted his hand to hit Luther but Luther stood still and alpha Damien looked at me bitterly and angrily…when I looked at everyone in the room they seemed scared.
“Please Alpha Damien, don’t do something you might regret,” I said to him but his hand was still up in the air and Luther still stood there like he didn’t care if his father hit him or not.
“Why!!! Why must you be the person to stand up and cover for him!!!?” Alpha Damien yelled and I couldn’t speak as I didn’t know what else to say.
“Because he is your son and I can’t watch you hit him…please,” I said to Alpha Damien hoping he would have a change of heart.
“He is not my father…he is someone who decides to steal everything from me!!!” Luther yelled and even though I couldn’t understand why he said that …that was all it took for Alpha Damein to reach his full rage.
He raised the hand and tried to step closer.
“How dare you claim that!!!!” I still held alpha Damein but what he did next came as a shock to me.
“Please…..” Before I could say anything else he used his hand to aggressively push me and with all my strength I tried not to land on my hand but instead my tummy hit the edge of the table and I fell to the ground kade rushed to me but with the rage that Alpha Damein had used to push me he made sure to hit Luther on the face and Luther began to bleed but despite the pain, I felt when Luther was fitted on the face it hurted me in the same spot which puzzled me the most.
Kade lifted me and Lady Rosa ordered the maid to call the doctor as I couldn’t understand what had just happened. But all my attention was still on Luther and Damien as alpha Damien didn’t stop or even care that I was hit by him in the presence of everyone.
He pushed Luther to the ground and turned to me, I was so dizzy I slowly began to lose sight of what was going on.
Kade tried to lift me while Lucy and the rest stood up but he stopped and when he lifted the hand he wanted to use to lift me it was filled with blood,
“Blood,” I mumbled as I could feel hot tears trying to burst out of my eyes.
Alpha Damien staggered towards me and Luther also stood up all his lips filled with blood.
I looked at Lady Rosa hoping to get an explanation but he looked away and looked back at Alpha Damien.
“She is bleeding, something is wrong with her.” Lady Rosa said and I could see it in Alpha Damein's eyes he seemed…seemed scared that something might happen to me.
I looked at Luther and he was even in more rage than when he stood up to leave.
He pushed past his father and aggressively pushed Kade away as he lifted me in a bridal style.
“Get the doctor!!!” Alpha Damien yelled as Luther carried me out of the dining room and I could feel my consciousness slowly slipping off.
“Luther, what’s wrong with me?” I whispered to Luther with the last strength in me making Luther look down at me.
“Amelia please stay with me.” He pleaded
“Don’t worry Amelia, you would be fine.” Those were the only words he uttered and I tried to say something but everything went dark.
