~Ryan’s Point of View~
Time with Mercy was not real human time, in the vampire world everything seems to move a lot faster. When you sleep the day away and live the night life, that’s what tends to happen. You blink and it’s been a few days, a week. It’s easy to lose track.
That first night Murphy did find me as I expected, and I told him it was okay to leave me. That I’d be okay. I knew Mercy wouldn’t hurt me, that he would protect me. But I still didn’t know the full extent of his relationship with Tully. He said he would let the guys know I’d made contact and just needed time.
I also made him promise to check on my girl, not that I knew she wouldn’t be safe with the guys but I just needed her to have all the protection I could give her.
