The dining hall isn’t really full, so we sit our normal table. Me sitting across from all of them. “I…” I pause not really sure where I want to go with this conversation.

Do I really want to cut all ties with them?

Do I really want them to leave me alone?

“Look, Sarah told us what happened. We understand why that would upset you, but it doesn’t change anything for us. We don’t want anyone else. We want you. Ginger was lying, none of us would do that to you. We haven’t even looked at another girl like that since we meant you. We understand if you need time to figure things out, but don’t shut us out.” Dean pleads with me, and I just stare at him.

I finally find my tongue and start talking, “I can’t be around you guys and not want to be with you. I don’t want to shut you out, but I can’t think straight around you guys.”

Gunner reaches his hands across the table, grabbing mine. I close my eyes, trying to not let it affect me. “Then don’t. Let’s work this out. I know you don’t have a ton

“Sarah!” I exclaim, as my body tries to hold hers up after I slammed into her. She laughs, trying to regain her balance. “Well, hello to you too, Grace!”I look over her body, once she’s upright, but there’s nothing wrong. What the hell was that feeling about? I don’t understand what just happened.Jordan and Cole rush beside me, “What the hell, Grace! You scared the crap out of us!” Jordan says and I grimace. “Sorry. I just…” I look back at Sarah, looking over her body again.“Are you okay?” I ask Sarah, because maybe it’s just something I can’t see. She narrows her eyes on me, “I’m fine. Are you? You’re the one who skipped three blocks.” I stare at her more intently. I just don’t understand.I look back at Jordan and Cole almost helplessly. Cole narrows his eyes, looking between Sarah and I. “Honestly, it was pretty strange. I swear I saw your eyes turn completely golden and then you ran off. Way faster than you should be able to, might I add.” Cole says.“You saw my golden eyes?” I

Cole and Jordan didn’t show up for history. So, it was pretty awkward.Issac wanted to give me space, so he sat in front of me, instead of beside me. Justin sat with him. So, I was just sitting in the back row, with two empty seats next to me. Issac didn’t ignore me or anything, just wasn’t as on top of me as he usually is.I sigh walking next to Issac again to music. Once we get there, I see him start to look uncomfortably behind me. I glance behind me, but all I see is a door. “What?” He flinches, like he forgot I was there. He looks down at me guiltily, “I just don’t like that Cole isn’t here.”Then it hits me, he’s nervous Cole won’t be here to protect me. He’s probably waging a war in himself, about going in there with me, so I won’t be alone, or giving me the space I asked for.I sigh, placing my hand on his arm. He closes his eyes at my touch and takes in a deep inhale. “I’ll be fine, Issac. I mostly just sit in the corner by myself anyway.” I say, watching as his eyes open and

I don’t know what Gunner is doing. He doesn’t say a word, just watches me. At least, I’m guessing he’s watching me, I can’t look at him. If I do, I can’t promise I won’t walk over and hug him until we both feel better.I don’t bother staying for dinner, I have absolutely no appetite. All I want to do is curl up into my bed. I’m so mad at myself, for letting Ginger get to me so bad. But it’s about more than that. I have a week until I can find out if I’m their mate or not. Then I’ll decide if I want to try and work everything out, if they even still want too by then.I just want to give myself a break from the constant headache that is the triplet’s past, or present. I couldn’t find it in myself to ask.I’m sitting on the couch, watching some reality show. It’s really just background noise; I’m not actually watching it. Gia and Olivia walk in holding to-go containers. “We made sure they knew we were bringing you food, so they don’t feel the need to.” Olivia says and I give her a small

All three of us just watch as she walks away. She’s right. Being with us has only caused her problems from the fucking start. Is she better off without us?No, I refuse to believe that. The Goddess wouldn’t have paired us together, if we weren’t meant to be together. For the first time in my life, I feel my heart breaking and I’m having trouble breathing. “We have to fix this.” I tell Dean and Issac, just as Sarah walks up beside Dean. Her eyes are worried as she looks between us, “No. She didn’t…” She doesn’t finish. She doesn’t need to; it’s written all over our faces what just happened.“Tell us every single word, look or gesture that happened after you left us.” Dean says, low, trying to hold back his anger. It’s not aimed towards Sarah, but she was the last person she was with and now Grace broke up with us.She sighs and relents. Actually, easily helping us, for once. She starts to walk, not wanting to talk about this out in the open.We follow her to our cabin, where we sit dow

I freeze on the spot, then turn to face her. I just stare at her for a while, because I don’t know what to say. I wasn’t technically with the triplets a week ago. Did he really ask her?“Shut the fuck up, Ginger! You’re such a liar. You’re not his mate and he never asked you to sleep with him. Get over yourself.” Sarah says, but I barely hear her.I don’t think I have any right to be mad. Right? We weren’t together. They haven’t left my side since things started escalating, just for blocks today and right now. But they seemed to like me before that. Would he have asked her that, even though he was trying to be with me?My head literally feels like it’s spinning.I can hear Ginger and Sarah mumbling back and forth but can’t make out their words.Suddenly, Ginger looks at me, pointing her gun and starts shooting. She hits me a few times in the vest but mainly hits me anywhere not covered by it. It stings, but I barely feel it.She finally stops, and I look down at myself covered in blue

Paintball! That’s our activity for the day, and I have no idea how I managed it, but out of four teams, I didn’t end up with any of the triplet’s. Which they weren’t happy about. “You aren’t on my team. That means you shoot me or go hide.” I tell them, because regardless they still won’t leave my side.Sarah groans, because she said she’d stay with me, but the triplets won’t leave my side.“I won’t leave her. Just let us go already.” Sarah pleads and I watch the indecision in their gazes. “Fine. She better not get hurt, Sarah.” I roll my eyes and start walking away.Gunner grabs my arm and spins me around, “We’re talking about this after block.” Gunner says and I sigh, not really wanting to. “I have kitchen duty.” I say dryly and he groans, “Grace, please. I can’t stand you being upset.” My eyes widen, out of all the triplet’s he uses my name the least. It’s ridiculous that it upsets me, but here we are.I yank my arm out of his hold and walk away, not waiting for Sarah but she catche

Now it’s his turn to look at me like I’m crazy, but I sigh. “Look, you’re worried that you won’t get to make any life decisions with him as a mate. But you don’t know that, maybe you guys can come to an understanding. Besides, it’s the Gammas’ job to protect their Luna and with how often Alpha's travel with their Luna, you may get more traveling done just by being with him.” I shrug, trying like hell to forget the fact I’m talking about the girl the triplets will end up with in the future.“Yeah, maybe you’re right. I’ll just have to talk to him tomorrow. Are you going to hate me if we can’t work something out?” I narrow my eyes at him, “Why would I hate you?” He sighs, “You seemed pretty ‘team Jordan’ in history.” His eyes sadden as he waits for my answer.I grab his hands in mine and look right at him. “If you didn’t want to be with him because you thought you were better than him or something stupid, I’d be upset with you. This is about your life, which you have more than a right t

We miss breakfast, thanks to our extracurriculars, but the triplets weren’t having that. So, Issac made a quick scrambled egg and cheese burrito for the go. Both of us eating them as we sit in history class.Issac scoots his desk til it’s touching mine and places his hand on my thigh. My insides instantly light up and Issac looks at me, giving me a knowing smirk. I roll my eyes, and I start to say something when Jordan interrupts, “Enough already. Urg! We get it you’re happy with each other.” I look at him surprised, because I’ve never seen him act like this.He groans, placing his head on the table. Issac chuckles, “He’s turning eighteen tomorrow, and he’s nervous.” Issac explains, and Jordan raises his head just to narrow his eyes on Issac, then puts it back on his desk.I grin and place my hand on Jordan’s shoulder, “What do you possibly have to be worried about? You’re amazing, Jordan. Anyone would be lucky to have you as a mate!” He groans into his hands and looks up at me. At th
