Lola’s pov,

As she stared into Noah his eyes, she was suddenly very aware of her hand touching his bare chest. She could feel the warmth radiating from his naked torso and her cheeks flushed when she imagined her hands going over his abdominal muscles. She could hardly breathe when his intense gray eyes fixated on hers. Her heart was beating fast, and it felt like a fire was being lit between her thighs. His face became closer, and she closed her eyes waiting for his lips to touch hers, but she just felt a brush of air as Noah leaped over her and went out of bed.

She watched him leave the room with a shocked expression on her face before putting the blanket over her face from shame. She felt so embarrassed!     Lola’s pov,It was the day of the moon festival a couple of weeks later. The normally quiet village was buzzing with sounds. Lola walked through the fields that were filled with little stalls where people could sell things. Every stall sold something different from hand-made clothes to carved wood, to home-cooked meals. Besides the stalls, there were different areas where you could play all sorts of games. Lola saw a couple of wolves doing a strength battle with a big rope between their teeth.
