Nova’s P.O.V.
“Did they leave?” Liam asked, a slight pout around his lips.
“Yeah. They got Jesse. Damon had gotten to her. I didn’t see what happened, but Ares told me it was pretty bad.”
Liam let out a low growl, staring down at Damon on the other side of the dance floor. He was mad, furious actually. His eyes had shifted into his wolf’s dark ones. I could feel the murderous intent radiating off of him. I placed my hand on his shoulder, doing to him what Manny does for me. I eased that anger for him, taking it away from him. I saw his shoulders fall back down.
“Thanks.” He turned those sweet eyes on me.
Liam has such a heart of gold. He fights off all the girls that are after him, saving himself for his mate. He always looks out for us, most especially his best friend Jesse. It made me think

Augustus’ P.O.V. I traveled to my room without a word the moment I saw the sun shine through the window. I had a damn pain in my back from trying to sleep beside broad shoulder Ares. Jesse’s P.O.V.I saw Augustus travel out quickly, leaving a sleepy Ares on the bed. Ares' hair was sprawled all around the pillow with his neck in a funny position. Ares P.O.V.I woke up expecting to see Auggie and Jesse here. I honestly thought they would wake me, but neither of them did, and neither of them were anywhere in sight. They had silently slipped out at some point and I had no idea when. Futures began to play out before my eyes, only exasperating my headache. I groaned, rubbing the crick in my neck as I sat up. Nova’s P.O.V.It’s cheating, but I totally used my healing fire to get rid of the pounding headache this morning. After a quick shower I was feeling refreshed and ready for the day. I dressed in a burgundy red sundress that hung around my shins. It was flowy and light, which was perfect for this summer heat. Although, what I was doing today, I had no idea. Augustus’ P.O.V. I was feeling guilty for being the worst brother in the world, until they announced they were going out together without me. Is it a date? Did he seriously ask her out? Nova’s P.O.V. “Hey, Nono. I didn’t know you were coming home this weekend.” Mom greeted me with my nickname. As a toddler I was always getting myself in trouble that mom would constantly have to tell me no when I would try to do something dangerous. She ended up just nicknaming me nono. I think it’s funny, and I’ve grown fond of the nickname. I have an amazing, caring, and kind mother. “Hey.
