Ares' P.O.V.
I stared down at Damon on the floor, wishing I really could just kill him. I looked at him like the roach that he is.
"You got something on your pants there." I pointed at his flaccid d*ck. "Oh shi.t is that your pen*s?" I squatted down, pretending to get a better look at it. "My bad man, thought you had a little bug on you. I am so sorry man, that's fu.cking small."
I stood back up, taking my shadow down. I don't care if he's humiliated or not. He broke Jesse fully tonight and my stupid self almost let it happen. I need to get better with my visions. I could have prevented the whole thing. I promised her I wouldn't let him get to her, yet he did. I broke my promise to her the very same day I made it. I was pissed at him and myself. I began to travel out, feeling a small hand on my wrist as I did. I had a tag along, it seemed. I turned to find Andy there.

Nova’s P.O.V.“Did they leave?” Liam asked, a slight pout around his lips.“Yeah. They got Jesse. Damon had gotten to her. I didn’t see what happened, but Ares told me it was pretty bad.”Liam let out a low growl, staring down at Damon on the other side of the dance floor. He was mad, furious actually. His eyes had shifted into his wolf’s dark ones. I could feel the murderous intent radiating off of him. I placed my hand on his shoulder, doing to him what Manny does for me. I eased that anger for him, taking it away from him. I saw his shoulders fall back down.“Thanks.” He turned those sweet eyes on me.Liam has such a heart of gold. He fights off all the girls that are after him, saving himself for his mate. He always looks out for us, most especially his best friend Jesse. It made me think
Augustus’ P.O.V. I traveled to my room without a word the moment I saw the sun shine through the window. I had a damn pain in my back from trying to sleep beside broad shoulder Ares. That bed was too small, and I really should have just slept on the floor. Still, I woke up with a smile, because I hadn’t felt this close to my family in a while. I think mom is doing better now that she isn’t trying to decipher messages in the sky. She was turning into a mad woman, training us hard, scared of losing us. I think having us in this academy has shown her that we are okay without her. I grabbed a simple t-shirt and some jeans, and went to take a shower. “Augustus, right?” A small girl with white hair and neon blue eyes stopped me before I could reach my destination. I grumbled to myself, just wanting to wash off the smell of alcohol from me. “Yeah, that’s me.” I answered her. Her hair was pulled back, showing that the side of her head was shaved. She had her dimples pierced with blue
Jesse’s P.O.V.I saw Augustus travel out quickly, leaving a sleepy Ares on the bed. Ares' hair was sprawled all around the pillow with his neck in a funny position. I am sure he’ll wake up with pain and a cranky attitude because of it. He was not a morning person, so I decided to leave as well, not wanting to deal with his morning bitterness. I’ll send him a text later to thank him. I know he didn’t really need company last night, far from it. He probably could have used some alone time, but he did it for my sake. Thanks for being there for me, Arie.I grabbed my things from the room and headed to the showers. Running into Liam in the hall. The dorms are coed, but the rooms are not. The powers that be aren’t exactly keeping us separated, but they aren’t encouraging it either. He still looked so handsome, despite his hair sticking up in every direct
Ares P.O.V.I woke up expecting to see Auggie and Jesse here. I honestly thought they would wake me, but neither of them did, and neither of them were anywhere in sight. They had silently slipped out at some point and I had no idea when. Futures began to play out before my eyes, only exasperating my headache. I groaned, rubbing the crick in my neck as I sat up. I looked at my phone and there were no messages from anyone. The futures playing out before didn’t seem promising either. I got up, grabbing a long white band t-shirt, and some torn black jeans. I traveled to the showers, wanting to get in and out quickly, before everyone’s future plays out before me for the day. Thankfully, it seemed like most everyone was sleeping off their hangovers still. Everyone goes out and parties hard on Friday nights.I traveled back to my room, checking to see if anyone had messaged yet. I had no
Nova’s P.O.V.It’s cheating, but I totally used my healing fire to get rid of the pounding headache this morning. After a quick shower I was feeling refreshed and ready for the day. I dressed in a burgundy red sundress that hung around my shins. It was flowy and light, which was perfect for this summer heat. Although, what I was doing today, I had no idea. I didn’t really have any plans. I am, however, getting the nagging feeling that I am forgetting something, but I can’t quite place it.I felt pulled towards the willow tree. I am not sure what it was, but the image kept popping in my head. It was as if it was calling to me. Maybe it’s my elf magic, and the tree needs some assistance. Who knows, but I’m going to it. I opened the portal seeing Ares sitting back against the tree. He looked great in his band t and dark jeans with black sunglasses on. He was looking down at a little black pouch with a large smile. He had a clover in his hair, which made him look more inviting. I wonder
Augustus’ P.O.V. I was feeling guilty for being the worst brother in the world, until they announced they were going out together without me. Is it a date? Did he seriously ask her out? I can’t believe him. He won’t even help me with this vampire problem. I mean, yeah, I guess I can handle it, but it’s such a nuisance. “That’s fine. I’ll give it to you on Monday then.” I told him. I stood back up, not wanting to witness their romance any longer. Their fingers were interlocked and they were clearly having some sort of deep conversation before I came. The way they were staring at each other when I got here…they were having a moment. I clearly interrupted whatever this was. I could feel the jealousy rise in me. I need to stop it. She’s not mine. She never was. “Don’t leave yet. We have something to tell you.” Nova stopped me, as she noticed me getting ready to go. I don’t want to hear this though. I don’t want to hear them tell me they are dating now. It’ll hurt too much. “Whateve
Nova’s P.O.V. “Hey, Nono. I didn’t know you were coming home this weekend.” Mom greeted me with my nickname. As a toddler I was always getting myself in trouble that mom would constantly have to tell me no when I would try to do something dangerous. She ended up just nicknaming me nono. I think it’s funny, and I’ve grown fond of the nickname. I have an amazing, caring, and kind mother. “Hey. I actually wasn’t, but something came up and I need help.” I saw her eyes glaze over for a moment, letting me know she was calling uncle Ash and then both my dads. She was quick to respond any time I told her I needed help. “Tell me what’s wrong?” She told me seriously, listening attentively. “It’s not about me.” I saw mom’s shoulders relax at the news of that. “Garbiel?” She tensed back up. I shook my head no, seeing her relax again. “Then who?” “Ares.” I almost whispered his name, still feeling so bad for him. I saw mom’s face stiffen. “Shi.t” She murmured. I knew this would hit her
Jesse's P.O.V. "I think it came out great!" Percy smiled, if he was in wolf form his tail would be wagging. I looked down at the atrocity we created. It looked like something a 5 year old with broken arms would make. This was not a sea turtle, not in the least. We quickly discovered you need shovels and buckets to make anything good in the sand. We were working with sand that was too dry to shape. "Are we looking at the same thing?" Liam asked him, staring down at our frankenturtle. "Of course!" Percy smiled excitedly. He's like a little puppy, I swear. "What do you think, Jess?" "I think he needs medical assistance." I remarked, making them both laugh. "I don't know what's wrong with you two. I think he looks great!" He snapped a picture of it on his phone. "That's going to be my new profile picture." "That'll be an improvement." Liam muttered, making me slap him in the chest. "Don't be mean." I scolded him. "No, he's right. Right now I have a picture of a sleeping L
