Chapter Nine

Now, his children wanted to protect him even at the cost of their own happiness. He wondered what he had done in his past life to deserve such children. The reaction he had expected from them had been the total opposite and felt relieved somehow. They had grown so much even without the presence of their mother in their life and had become independent.

When his children left to go back to their places, Mr Jones felt like a huge load had been lifted off his shoulders, but at least his children didn't hate him for what he did, rather they were understanding and willing to help in his company situation. Their effort as a family was going to save them. He really was thankful to his kids for being so understanding even though he didn't say it, they knew their dad was really appreciative.
