“Matti?”

I’m reviewing some resumes in the table when Ms. Zia - one of the HR assistants who’s guiding me throughout my internship - called me.

“Yes, Ms?”

She pointed her finger through the wall clock. “2 pm, don’t forget.” Ngumiti ako at tumango sa pagpapaalala niya tungkol sa pagr-rounds ko mamaya.

I waited for another 15 minutes before I called the service department to have someone who will drive me through all the places I have to go to.
