Liana's POV

My mother was still breathing.

It was in fact the first time that I had really been worried about her wellbeing.

" Mother! Are you alright? "

I knew she wasn't.

She had scalding marks all over her and so did the other guys. My mother's boys. Her personal army. They were the highest paid bodyguards. But they were all lying on the ground. None moved a limb.

" Yes, that's the place! " I was about to hang up from my call to the police and ambulance, when my mother clasped at my feet.

She could hardly open her eyes.

" Liana... "

Her voice faint and weak. Barely audible. So I went closer to her face.

" I am right here. Don't worry. Will get you to the hospital, the ambu... "

" Liana... Damian. She took him! "

There was worry in her eyes. Not for herself or her boys but my Damian.

Draco was standing a few feets away.

My mother seemed unbothered.
