Ashley’s POV

Scared.

That was what I felt when I saw Trent standing beside the hospital bed looking like he rushed in here. I was so fucking scared that I almost cried then and there when I saw him crying.

More so when he finally asked me about what the heck is up.

I was scared to be left alone. People had always left me and I had been alone for the most part—my parents they left me and now that I found someone worth spending the rest of my short life with, I am scared that he’ll gonna leave me behind.
