Chapter Thirty Two: The Circumstances

“Cara and Vince have gone missing!” Vince’s mom exclaimed.

“I saw them go to the forest. I went with them but I returned and left them, thinking it would be dangerous to go far with that place.” He went with them when Cara induced his cousin Vince to play with her on that road. When he thought of the danger that might come to them if they go far, he went back and left them, not even warning his cousin and Cara of what he was thinking ahead of his mind. Maybe he was being cowardly, but he was just being careful.

“Why didn’t you tell us early?!” His uncle chided him like he was blaming him.

“Enough. We should find them before the sunset. We’re the only adults to be blamed. Cara’s parents are not here, so we need to hurry.” His dad intervened as he noticed his uncle’s impulsive attitude.

Vince’s parents immediately went in their car together and separated their ways with his parents to find Vince and Cara as quickly as possible.
