Chapter Nineteen

Sophia closed from work but this particular night she didn’t wait for Ella-Rose and Lilian. She decided to go home alone, she was moody and felt bullied, she concluded that it was because she is from a poor background that was the reason why Gustavo Alvarez made her feel bad.

She wondered how he found her at the club and pondered on the reason behind him ceasing her name tag, she found it absurd that of all people “the Almighty Gustavo Alvarez” who was always busy had the time to pick on her.

Sophia got home tired and hungry, she wished she had enough money to order food for herself and her father. She decided to get home first and run a cold bath before thinking of what to eat.

Sophia got home and saw her father’s truck parked in the driveway, she checked the time on her watch and found out that she got home earlier than on other days, maybe because she had gone home alone because if she had gone with Ella-Rose and Lilian, they would have taken time undressing and chatting.
