Can this be a fresh air?

Immediately Nasha stepped out of the apartment and started walking towards the gate, she felt a grip on her hands then she turned, but only to discover that it was Richardson.

Then she screamed,

“Get your hands off me, you monster! Get it off me! I hate you! I hate you very…”

she cried out in a shaky voice.

And Richardson refused to lose his grip on her hands but rather, he forcefully wants to make her forgive him.

“Nasha, please, forgive me. I am very sorry. Can’t you see that it was just a mere mistake!”.

The sound of the word “mere mistake” rumbled through her stomach like someone who was suffering from diarrhea.

Then her furiousness sparked like fire as she struggled out from Richardson’s hands, and when she managed to let loose of his grip, she sent two resounding slaps to his face.

And Richardson staggered aback as he covered his cheek with his two palms.

Nasha had known Richardson to be a narcissist because of too many privileges that he received from being noble.

Richardson Gregory is the son of a wealthy businessman and one of the top tiers in the states, also owes a lot of companies in the states.

Because of this, Richardson became very domineering because he feels that his father’s affluence would be enough to fix his shits and the fact that he owes a major share in one of his father’s companies, worsened his mannerism.

But little did he know that Nasha ain’t the type that would be easily be bought with a bunch of pounds, though matter the amount.

She could tolerate any other irritating characters but what she can’t take, is cheating and disrespect as they are deal breakers for her.

Richardson’s unremorsefulness concerning the situation made Nasha wish she never had anything to do with him.

But Nasha would have to pretend to be cool with Richardson, else, he might become violent and won’t let her leave his side.

Nasha smirked, then thought that apologizing to Richardson will pacify his hotness, and also, she would use that opportunity to distract him and then send an SMS across to Annabel’s phone.

Nasha moved close to Richardson, then lifted his jaw with her hands and caress it gently. Then she said to him,

“I apologize for that, ok.”

Richardson smiled and marveled at Nasha’s forgiving speed then he tried to hug her but Nasha gave him a slight push as a way of objecting to his request.

And not quite long when that happened, Annabel appeared before them, standing akimbo like a native market woman who was ready for a fight.

Nasha hastily ran to her arms and started crying profusely. And having understood Nasha’s personality well enough, she asked Richardson to stay off their way as she wouldn’t want to hurl insults at him.

Richardson stepped aside as he watched Annabel and Nasha walked out of his presence. His looks resembled that of the hen when an eagle made away with one of its chicks.

But what could a man who has been drained by the rain do? He goes home to off his wet dress. And that was exactly what Richardson did because he knew that at that point, he had lost control over Nasha cos of his mess.

Richardson returned to his apartment and lay flat in his bed as his thoughts ran across his shitty behaviors in the club.

While Annabel pampered Nasha to sleep in her apartment. Then on the next day, Nasha prepared for school.

****************************************

It was Nasha's first day at the University of Cambridge and as a postgraduate student, she was expected to have such a good poise, laced with great charisma.

Nasha walked into the school premises majestically like a runway model. Despite the pain that emanated from the disappointment that she had the last night, her charms remained intact.

When she got to a particular building, she stood still for a few minutes observing the beauty of the environment.

But when she realized that all eyes were turning in her direction, she hastily left the place, then proceeded to look for the Engineering department.

“Hey. Please, I’m new here. Please, which of these buildings is the Engineering department?” She shyly asked one of the boys standing by the walkway.

“It’s ok. Can you see that building over there? The one that has a blue color, that’s the department”. The boy replied.

Nasha briefly expressed her gratitude as she hurriedly started walking to the department.

When she got there, the number of other postgraduate students climbing the stairs made her not enquire where they were having their lectures.

And rather than asking any further questions from anybody, she walked behind them until they got to the seventh floor where newly admitted students were having their lectures.

Nasha saw herself in the class of twenty people, she became very elated cos seeing lots of people would assist her to get through the emotional trauma that she was passing through.

Star Wilberforce, one of the course-mates hastily noticed how she had been standing still at a spot, then decided to extend a warm reception by offering her a seat.

“Hey. Hey. ” Star said to Nasha.

“huh”. Nasha replied as it dawned on her that she was lost in thought for over ten minutes.

Star smiled, then introduced himself. “My name is Star Wilberforce. It seems you are new here. I am also new. Please, have a seat, the lecture will soon commence”

Nasha giggled as she reluctantly accepted the seat. And Star who was sitting right beside her, stylishly glanced at her gorgeousness until the lecture was over.

When they rounded off their lectures for the day, Star offered to take Nasha for lunch in one of the school’s best restaurants; typically made for the upper classes.

“Nasha, please, can you go with me for lunch? I won’t take much of your time, I promise.” Star said pleadingly to Nasha.

Nasha looked steadily at him, and because of his innocent looks which made him appear harmless, she agreed to go with him.

“Alright. I’ll go with you.” Nasha replied.

Star became glad for her acceptance, then they walked to the restaurant. When they got there, Star ordered two plates of grilled chicken and Chinese sauce.

“Here is it, Nasha. Have a bite, please. I trust you will like it. ” Star said snappily as he fixed his gaze on her face, trying to read her facial expressions.

However, Nasha who had already liked Star's personality, felt very comfortable around him; decided to try the grilled chicken.

And as they were eating, they discovered that their interests were alike and they make different jokes, laughing heartily as if they had known each other for years.
