Chapter 11

 

 

The program ended past midnight, but the celebration did not. Some guests were left on the beachfront and others chose to go home. After the disaster happened in our family, this was the happiest night of my life.

I was exhausted, but it was worth it because I thoroughly enjoyed my debut. We said goodbye to Javier and Aunt Avila to go to Dawn and my room. The girls couldn't shut their mouth up after they went inside Shawn's car.

The five of us fit in the backseat, leaving Dawn no choice, but to sit next to him. We just let the boys walk. I noticed that Shawn couldn't break a plate. Ever since he returned to the venue after taking a pee, he didn’t talk to me or let out a single word. He was just nodding his head every time Javier asked him a question.
