IT'S REALLY happening. Our efforts were all worth it. Earlier I was nervous while in the backseat of Shawn's car so that it would be more social to look at the entrance. Well, it was one of Dawn's creative imaginations and I couldn't keep quiet because I was so nervous.

"You'll be okay, Raine," Shawn said as he smiled glancing at the rearview mirror. He was carefully driving his car down the pathway to the main venue. "You own this moment and you must enjoy it."

I tried to smile, even though my lips were trembling. I’m not nervous because of the guests, but I’m afraid of what they’ll judge. Especially the children of Mom and Dad's friends who are here now. We always threw elegant parties before when we were still rich. Our situation is different now. Also, I don’t know if what I look like right now matters to me.
