I opened my eyes to see the bright ray of sunshine flashing through my curtains, damn it was morning. I got up and looked down at my feet.
" The injury." I gasped out.

I got up and opened the curtains in my room. My phone rang as I rushed to grab it. It was mom.
Mom called immediately, I sigh and picked up.
" Hey Mom." I said and yawned.
" How are you doing?"
" I'm good and you?" I asked.
" I'm so fine, your dad's here." She giggled on the phone and I chuckled.
" I know. You're happy huh?"
" I missed him." Mom said and giggled on the phone. Hmm. Love.
" Reasons you need to come with him down to New Orleans." I said and I could hear her scoff.
