Chapter Seventeen

Kohl finally fell asleep and found himself in the dream world, in that barren, dark land where he'd connected with Camilla before. He walked to the place he'd spoken to her previously, but she wasn't there. He waited for her for a while and just as he was about to walk back toward the door to exit this world, he saw her approaching him.

"Hello, Kohl." She said softly sitting beside him.

"We're working toward getting you out of here."

"I know you are."

"We have to deal with an issue right now though. A massive pack of lycans are slaughtering hundreds of thousands of people around the world." She looked at him confused. "You don't know what any of that means do you? You haven't had interaction with people to understand these things have you?"

"No I have not. Most of this conversation I have with you comes from what I've been able to get from my connection with you."
