Chapter seven
Lucas moves closer to the edge of the hill, still holding her hand in his.
" Are you ready?", He asks as he stares at the ground, the ground didn't look far from up but the obstacles on it is what scares Emily.
" Yes", Emily swallows hard and involuntarily tightens her hold on his hand in a firm grip.
With a light push, Emily yelps as she skids down the hill. She stumbles upon a rock and fall.
Emily hits her stomach on a rock which shoots pain all over her body.
She can't control the way she is tumbling, eventually, Emily lands on the ground with lots of bruises and cuts.
She groans as she can't stand, Lucas tumbles down after Emily and lands beside her.

Emily races back to where Lucas is, she almost cry when she sees the situation he is in.The blood stain on his shirt and his pale face makes him resemble a vampire." Lucas", Emily cries as she kneels beside him, Emily cradles his face and help him up. " Come on Lucas, I have found the river."Lucas groans as Emily drags him up, he rests his arm on her shoulder and limps towards the river." We are almost there Lucas, hold on please", Emily urges him to continue moving forward when he stops." I can't", he complains. " I can't go any further."" No Lucas, you have to. You can't die on me, we are going to get out of this place together." Emily quickly wipe the tears that falls on her cheek and hurls him forward when he is about to fall.
When the night falls Chapter nine
" Please snap out of this, please I beg you", Lucas begs, he looks worried and stressed. Emily tries to control her fears but the changes in the surroundings adds to her panic. Lucas puts his hand on her back and rubs it in a comforting way. " Please Emily, come back to me", he whispers in Emily's ear as the woman in his arms trembles. Emily is scared, she trys to breathe but it is very difficult to do. Her heart pounds in her chest and inhaling becomes difficult. The darkness intensifies and howling voices of monsters is heard. Lucas looks around to be sure they are alone, Emily is making no changes instead it is getting worse. She is having a panic attack. " Breathe baby, please", Lucas sees no changes so, he did what is right and helpful by saying sweet words to her which helped a little.
When the night falls Chapter ten
How can she run away and leave Lucas behind. Lucas! She suddenly stops and turns around. She can't leave Lucas alone, Lucas will never leave her alone with a monster if it was him. Turning around, she sees the monster at the door sneering at her. Lucas is right, the monster can't leave the room. Lucas falls to his knees as the monster kicks him, the force causes Lucas to roll on his back. Dragging the chain saw, it refuses to start. The ogre smile in victory. It drags the mallet on the ground as it moves closer to Lucas. " No!", Emily yells. She did the bravest thing she can think of, Emily runs back to Lucas with her axe raise in the air. Letting out a war cry, Emily cuts the monster on its leg.

" Kiss me."" You want me to.......", Lucas pauses as he stares at her plump, pink lips. " Are you sure about it?" Emily nods her head and wet her lips with her tongue.Lucas wastes no time in connecting his lips to hers. He has wanted to have the taste of her mouth again. Angling her neck, he deepens the kiss and strokes his tongue with hers. Emily breathes, this is her first time kissing a guy so she is not use to holding her breath. She removes her mouth from his." Emily......", It is a gasps, a groan, a sound he whispers into her ear making a tingle sensations erupt in her body.Emily can't get enough of him so she grazes her lips over his skin, wanting his heart to beat for her like her heart is doing right now.Lucas wraps his arms around her w
When the night falls Chapter twelve
A minute of waiting passes before Lucas continues. Emily's breaths caught in her throat as she look up. The shadow is right by her side but it didn't harm her. It is as if it is following them, leading them out of the house. The shadow is trying to tell her something or show her somewhere. " Lucas, follow the shadow", Emily utters. Lucas did not even doubt her , he cautiously follows the shadow as it leads them through the haunted house. When they reach a black door, the shadow stops. The shadow shifts as it takes the form of a human. Emily gaps when she sees who it is, terror drains the color on her face and fills her body as she clutches Lucas's neck. Emily apologizes when she is squeezing Lucas too much. She alighted from his back and regards the newly formed monster in front of them.
When the night falls Chapter thirteen
Lucas pulls the door open and the air inside is still to which he shudders, he is also scared but one of them must stand tough and be brave which is what he is going to do. The dusty wind and strong aroma of food made Emily shudder. It is a mystery that none of them is hungry, Emily never thought of food until now. She is not sure Lucas is thinking the same way as she is thinking." Tempting but we have to pass through", Lucas says almost like a warning for her not to misbehave so Emily nods her head. She attaches herself to his side holding his arms. Emily exhales loudly, she is starting to feel tired.Shrilling sounds is heard from the other side they are going to but Lucas did not stop walking.Lucas can feel the warmth radiating from the room. They walk to the food truck and order for some burgers and milk shakes. Emily sits across the street, she watch people walking on the road and sigh.She is glad to be back in the real world even though she has nothing to live for. When she realizes that Lucas has been staring at her, she turn." What are you thinking about?", He asks.Emily chews gently on her burger, she even spills some ketchup on her clothes. She shakes her head as she wipes her clothes clean." We need to change, we are looking like beggers", Emily complains to which Lucas chuckles." Some minutes later, Emily and Lucas climb into the truck and are on their way to Lucas's house. They ride in silence as none of them speak a word.
