LOGINChapter 6
***Aurora*** Oh god! Of all person's, my one-night stand is the CEO? I wanted the ground to swallow me whole. The silence that rang through the hall was deafening. Suddenly, my boss stood up. “Get out of my office, Aurora,” he ordered. I blinked. “What?” “You heard me, woman!” He seethed. “Get out this instant!” I shook my head. “Sir, I can't afford this–” “Then you are fired!” He said. “Now get the fuck out!” What? “Seriously?” I let out a bitter scoff. “You work here?” The CEO suddenly asked. Embarrassment covered me like a shield. A part of me had hoped he'd not recognise me, seeing as he said nothing the moment I walked in. I fumbled with words in my brain, thinking of what to say. “I–” “Not anymore,” Boss cutted in, smiling at Mr. Cocky. “She's leaving.” He turned to me, eyebrows raised in question. “Right?” He stressed the word like it was chewing gum. “In that case, I'm offering her another job,” CEO suddenly said. He looked up calmly at me. “Be my PA.” The room went death silent, safe for the chiming of notifications coming from Sasha's phone as she recorded what was happening. “W-what?” Slowly, he stood up. “Be my PA,” he repeated calmly. “I don't have one. I recently let the previous one go.” That night flashed through my mind again. I blinked. Once. Twice. “Excuse me?” He raised an annoyed brow at me. “Are you taking the job or not?” I blinked, unsure of how to respond. This whole thing, it feels so much like a dream. It has to be a dream, right? There's no way in hell he's asking me to be his PA. Does he even recognise me at all? Or perhaps, he heard the news and suddenly feels bad, and this is how he wants to make amends? Oh, god. I paid him for that night. I fucking paid a Billionaire CEO for sleeping with him. Heat and embarrassment crawled up my neck in waves. He's probably annoyed, right? Yes. He's livid, and this is how he wants to take revenge. Mr. Cocky brought a large, veiny hand to his temple, massaging slightly. “I don't have all day, woman.” “How…much?” “What's that?” I cleared my throat. “How much, and what are the terms involved?” Suddenly, I felt a hard shove as Sasha pushed me against the door hinges, bolting into the room like her pants were on fire. “I'll be your Personal Assistant!” Sasha offered immediately, grinning from ear to ear. I winced, massaging my elbow. “Sasha!” Boss exclaimed, shocked. “I'll be your assistant,” she repeated, ignoring our boss. “I'm really good at what I do, sir.” Now, she practically was all over him like a possessed prostitute. For a second, I rolled my eyes at her madness. “Get out of my way, miss,” Mr. Cocky warned. “If you'd follow me outside, we can discuss the rest,” he said to be. “Your salary will be way higher than whatever they pay you here.” I nodded. A part of me still couldn't believe what was happening. He made a move to leave the office. “Mr. Carson,” our boss sidestepped immediately. “What about the deal?” Mr. Cocky–yes, I'm already used to the name at this point–turned to our boss. “My PA will run come background works on the accomplishments of this company over the years, and she'll decided if I'm to work with you or not.” Darn. My boss, well EX boss, turned to me, expression a mixture of disbelief and shock. “Aurora, I'll be in the car,” Mr. Cocky cutted in. A part of me wanted to ask how he knew my name, but I slipped my mind just as quickly. I could barely contain my grin. This felt like those proposal videos I watch on TikTok, except there's no 24 carat diamond involved here. This felt like a dream come true. With Mr. Cocky gone, Sasha, my boss and I stayed transfixed in the office. At the door, the entire staff, cleaners included, were locked on us. “Uhh…,” my boss began. “Well, I've always known you'd make the company proud.” It took me a second to realise he was talking to me. “You're leaving this company, but remember that you're still a part of us,” he continued. Never in a thousand years did I think this man was ever going to grin at me. “I trust that you'd give him excellent reviews about this company. In summary, do all you can to secure that deal.” “Well,” I shrugged. “It's not up to me.” “What?” “My job is simply to dig up everything I can find on this company and relay them to my boss,” I explained calmly, enjoying every bit of this. “Whatever he does with the information is none of my business.” I strutted out of the company, only to see Mr. Cocky leaning gracefully on his car, waiting. “I apologise for wasting your time, sir,” I began immediately. Somehow, adding ‘sir’ to the end of my statement felt awkward. He said nothing, only handing out his phone to me. “Your number.” Okay, rude. I typed in my cell and handed the phone back to him. “I'll send you a contract before the end of today,” he said. “Everything you need to know about this job is on there.” “Okay,” I nodded. “And here.” In his hands was a wad of folded 100 dollar bills. I instantly knew what it was. The cash I left behind for him. “I don't offer sex for money.” So he does remember. We settled into an awkward silence. I cleared my throat. “Uhm,” I began. “About that night, I–” “Whatever happened was a mistake,” he cutted in. “Something anyone in my shoe would have done.” “I blinked. “Excuse me?” “You're not my type, but you're pretty. You also wore a dress that left nothing to the imagination. Anyone in that club would have wanted a taste of you that night. Whatever happened was irrelevant.” Tears suddenly welled up in my eyes. Thankfully, the douchebag was already getting into his car. “See you on Monday.” With that, he drove off. I stood there, all excitement washed away with the wind, his words replaying, like a broken recorder, in my head.Chapter 6***Aurora***Oh god!Of all person's, my one-night stand is the CEO?I wanted the ground to swallow me whole. The silence that rang through the hall was deafening.Suddenly, my boss stood up.“Get out of my office, Aurora,” he ordered.I blinked. “What?”“You heard me, woman!” He seethed. “Get out this instant!”I shook my head.“Sir, I can't afford this–”“Then you are fired!” He said. “Now get the fuck out!”What?“Seriously?” I let out a bitter scoff.“You work here?”The CEO suddenly asked.Embarrassment covered me like a shield.A part of me had hoped he'd not recognise me, seeing as he said nothing the moment I walked in.I fumbled with words in my brain, thinking of what to say. “I–”“Not anymore,” Boss cutted in, smiling at Mr. Cocky. “She's leaving.”He turned to me, eyebrows raised in question.“Right?” He stressed the word like it was chewing gum.“In that case, I'm offering her another job,” CEO suddenly said.He looked up calmly at me. “Be my PA.”The room wen
**Aurora**It's Monday again, and I was back to being a receptionist.Standing in front of the mirror, I quickly accessed my look. A button down cream coloured linen shirt tucked in black fitted trousers. Simple. Just the way I liked it.My brown hair was in a tight bun, because I hate when it gets in my way while working.Unfortunately, there's one thing that has refused to leave my mind, and it was the mind blowing sex I had with a total stranger the previous weekend.Memories of that night, already etched into the fabric of my brain resurfaced, and I closed my eyes, letting out a soft sigh. It felt like I was in a time loop, back to that night when it happened. My breath hitched in my throat as I opened my eyes, staring at my reflection in the vanity mirror. My eyes were dilated, my face was flushed, and my chest rapidly rose and fell as I tried to catch my breath. It's crazy how the thought of sex with someone could affect me like this. Jason wasn't even this close.I badly want
**Michael**Tilting her head to the side, I deepened the kiss, and she let out a small moan, melting into my touch.I saw her walk into the club from the VIP lounge, and my eyes never left her since. She was like a magnet, reeling me in till I succumbed. She moved confidently through the crowd, in that sexy gown that barely covered her butt. Her cleavage wasn't spared, either. They were full, bouncing with each step she took. I immediately remembered how they were last night, bare and dripping with water. I remembered her round, pointy nipples, and imagined what they'd feel like between my teeth, while I drowned her in a sea of pleasure.Hesitantly, I broke it off, getting a whimper from her. Her boldness amused me, but it also aroused me further.“Not here,” I reasoned. My voice was already hoarse with need.If we were going to do this, it has to be somewhere private. Her suite. She nodded, agreeing with me, and I smiled.I gripped her small soft hands and headed straight for the el
**Aurora**The loud annoying ringtone from my phone was what woke me up the next day.Annoyed, I fished it out from where it was underneath my pillow and looked at the caller. It was Kathryn, my sister. I pressed the phone to my ear.“What?” I asked, annoyed from being woken up.“Are you just waking up?” Kathryn asked.“Yea..?”“It's freaking 5.32, Rory!”I glanced at the fancy-looking clock on the wall.I guess my night was way fucked up than I imagined.I casted a quick look around the suite. It appears my roommate is already gone, and I couldn't be happier.I sighed. “What do you want, Kat?” “Relax. I just wanted to know how you're doing.” pause.“Mom’s dialysis session today went well, though.”“Oh.” I sat up on the couch. “How is she?” My mom, who lived with my only sister two states away, was diagnosed with Advanced Kidney failure and was put on lifelong dialysis. Our dad passed seven years ago, and since I was the eldest, the most of my money had always been for her treatment
**Aurora**The subsequent screams that erupted from my lips were loud enough to shatter glass. My hands flew to cover myself, but it was too late. The damage was already done. Standing in the living room area is an incredibly hot stranger. Tall, frustratingly goodlooking, and infuriatingly calm while my dignity evaporated in real time. "What are you doing in my room?" I yelled, eyes darting around for the nearest object I could defend myself with. "Get out!"Is it possible that a thief sneaked into my room? What if he murders me?Oh God, haven't I had enough bad luck for one night?"Relax, sweetheart," he said calmly, his deep voice echoing through the suite.Sweetheart? He leaned against the doorframe, watching me closely. "You're the one trespassing in my suite. Don't blame me for walking in on the show."My jaw dropped. Trespassing? My fists clenched at my sides as I crawled back to the bed, yanking the blanket around me. "Excuse me? This is my suite. 12rb. Paid in full. You're
**Aurora**I stood in the hotel lobby like a lost child as I took in the scene before me.“Jason?” My voice cracked despite my feeble attempt to sound strong. He turned, and the color drained from his face the moment he recognised me.“A–Aurora?” he stammered. The blonde haired girl in his arms also turned slowly, and her glossy lips curved up in a mischievous smile the moment she recognised me.Sasha.She adjusted the strap of her designer dress before speaking.“Well, well… look who it is. Aurora. What are you doing here?”This is a stark contrast to the best friend I know. Her emerald green eyes, which once looked at me with unrequited love, were now sparkling with mischief. My stomach twisted, but I held my ground. “I should be asking you the same thing.”I had planned this hotel getaway with my own savings. Jason was supposed to be here with me. My boyfriend. But instead, they were here, with each other.Jason scrambled to stand, guilt written all over his face. But before he cou
