Chapter Forty-Eight

" Amanda! Amanda! I'm right behind you okay?" Sam screams as the officer drags me into the back of the police automobile and locks the door, I couldn't let out a word, all I did was observe through the car window. Sam appears tensed up with the whole thing happening, as the car slowly drives away, the little girl tries pulling away from the lady holding her hand but she seems to be holding her firmly while speaking with a Cop, she reaches out her left arm to me with tears in her eyes as the vehicle zooms out.

I can not tell what has come over me, however, it turned me into a sudden tongueless person that I didn't utter a word or try to defend myself by any chance. We arrives at the station and with no time frittered, they had thrown me behind bars right before removing the handcuffs on my wrist.
