Thirty-Six

When it comes to pastry, I don't like to brag but I am quite a cake whiz. And this evening I have a plan on baking a nice coffee cake for Sam since she is a fan of coffee. I started with my cake baking and before dawn, I am done with it and able to clean up the kitchen ahead of time. Before her arrival, I freshen up and had a little 'me time. In as much as I enjoy having company or a roommate, there's nothing in the world I enjoy more than some time alone to myself, it allows me to think my life through and know how far I've gone with my life and what step to take next in life, being able to enjoy one's company is the best way to live. 

While I laid down in bed, I hear a knock at the main entrance door and promptly I jump out of bed and ran to open the door, " I'm sure it must be Sam... She came quite timelier than I thought." I say to myself as I approach the door, turning the lock anti-clockwise direction, I succeed in opening the door and slowly pulls it ajar.
