The beeping of the alarm clock startled me awake. My back was drenched in a cold sweat as I recall the nightmare I just had. But no matter how I concentrated I cannot recall a thing except how I was swallowed by a horrendous creature. '7:00 AM' I sat in my bed and turned off the beeping alarm clock. Slowly calming myself down from the nightmare I just had. I can hear the soft clanging of dishes and the smell of something cooking downstairs. Phil arrived at Seth's office; he knocked on the door and waited for permission to go in. "Come in." Seth's voice called. Phil went in and saw Seth sitting at his desk wearing white gloves and reading a clay tablet, signs of weathering and broken-off pieces were easily noticeable as the piece was clearly archaic. Phil looked around and saw shelves of books pertaining to human psychology and the history of cultures, the room was filled with the smell of dust and musty old books similar to a library.

Two days passed and it was Phil's birthday. Phil was still a little pale since his nightmares didn't end, but now he could understand a little what his nightmare seem to mean because of the discussion he had with his teacher Seth. Although he could not stomach the realistic sensations of being tortured in his dreams he was somewhat slightly accustomed to it, although he still shivers on the thought about it. Both of his parents took the day off to be with him and that made him very happy, Phil knows that even though they are very much busy they still love him. He watched with glee as people he had not seen for a year came and joined him for his 13th birthday.&
