Chapter 14

"It was my dad, he is the liar," I said, slamming my text book on the table, earning shush from the librarian.

Frost hummed.

"My mom told me that he disappeared for a week every full moon. And he also has a brother," I ranted.

"Yep, an uncle that I didn't know existed," I continued leaning back in my chair.

"Frost are you listening to me," I said realizing that her attention was on the group a few tables away from us and not on me or her book.

"Frost," I said loudly earning another shush from the librarian.

"What," she answered turning to me, finally.

"I'm trying to talk to you but you obviously don't want to talk to me."

Frost sighed and rolled her eyes.

"OK, what do you want to talk to me about," she said carelessly.

I bit lip and inhaled deeply.
